So today is "Poetry Day", and our library is offering a chance for anyone to recite their work.
I feel very driven to go, but at the same time, REALLY, REALLY NERVOUS.
I've been pouring through my poetry, trying to decide what to take with me, what is worth reciting out loud (and what people might stand listening to).
So far, the list I have come up with is (sorry I don't know how to do these as thumbnails, any advice on that is very welcome!)
Butterfly Nap
An Ode to a Hoodie
The Muse
Feline Blues
Tho I knew thee not, and well
In Our Prison Cell
Any thoughts/recommendations/encouragement/dissuasions?
This is really starting to freak me out, heh...
